Musée d'Orsay

L'afrique by Eugène Delaplanche (1836-1891)

Imagine my surprise and disappointment when after standing in line for 30 minutes, purchasing my ticket and gaining entrance into Le Musée d'Orsay, I discovered that this former train station turned museum no longer permits the taking of photographs or videos! For me, it was about taking photographs of the architecture of the building. My old, less than perfect snaps from the past will have to do. I'll post other exterior photographs in the coming weeks and months. So sad...
