Jean-Charles Alphand

Jean-Charles Alphand, 1817-1891, Directeur des Travaux de Paris, participated in the renovation of Paris under Baron Haussmann. The sculpture by Aimé-Jules Dalou is located on avenue Foch not far from the Arc de Triomphe.
